Tip of the week: Prepare with helicopter crash drills

Four helicopter crashes within a 30-day span in May and June have only reemphasized the need to assess helicopter landing safety measures.
Planning and executing drills involving medical helicopter scenarios, or at least discussing their feasibility with administrators, will give your hospital a jump on any renewed interest stemming from this year’s crashes.
