HCSC to buy MEDecision for $121 million

Chicago-based Health Care Service Corp. (HCSC), the parent company of Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Illinois, Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, says it will purchase Wayne, PA–based disease management (DM) software maker MEDecision for approximately $121 million, or about $7 per share in cash.
