Tip of the week: Involve facility managers in emergency planning

When it comes to emergency planning, make sure your facility managers are involved in that process. Because facility directors understand the physical plant, “they save the day” during emergency responses that involve utilities or space, says Joseph Cappiello, president and CEO of Simulation Education Services in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
“The more of those folks you can get engaged and involved in your emergency planning and response, the better off you’re going to be in the long run,” he added.
