Columbus, OH–based Nationwide Better Health has been quietly upgrading and enhancing its health and productivity management services, and last month it unveiled a new health risk assessment (HRA) that uses a two-tier stratification process to place employees into the right programs based on their needs.
In addition, the company has three large employers —representing about 45,000 lives—that have purchased its integrated disability and health management product for 2008. These customers also use Nationwide’s health management offerings, says Holly Snyder, president of Nationwide.
“We got the ones we really needed to be the first movers,” Snyder says, adding that the company is seeing strong interest in the integrated products for 2009.
