ASCs in the news: ASC Association to hold annual meeting
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, April 15, 2008
The ASC Association has recently updated the program for its annual meeting-ASCs 2008-which will be held May 14-17.
The meeting, "Celebrating our Successes, Living our Mission," will be the first since the merger of the two influential ASC organizations, The Foundation for Ambulatory Surgery in America (FASA) and The American Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (AAASC), which occurred January 1-forming the new ASC Association.
Earvin "Magic" Johnson will be the keynote speaker at ASCs 2008. The meeting also features a comprehensive program covering the following topics:
- The latest information on Medicare
- Complying with laws & regulations
- Best practices for operating ASCs
- What's new in ASCs
- Financial effectiveness tools
- Employee retention & management
- Physician-specific topics
