Walgreens buys two worksite health center vendors

Walgreen Co. last week jumped into the health and productivity management market as it announced the acquisition of two worksite health center providers and said it has created a new Walgreens Health and Wellness Division.
The new division will manage health centers and pharmacies at large-company worksites while continuing the rollout of Take Care Health Clinics—aimed at treating minor ailments—in Walgreens drugstores nationwide.
