Man killed in gunfight outside hospital emergency room

A man was killed in a shooting March 8 in the parking lot outside the entrance to the Coliseum Northside Hospital emergency room in Macon, GA.
Police said the fatal shootout stemmed from a verbal altercation between the three men, which left one dead from multiple gun shot wounds and the other two charged with murder, reported Macon.com. Police said the three men got into an argument at the hospital and went out to their cars to retrieve guns. All three were shot in the dispute.
The hospital was on lockdown following the shooting and put extra security in place, the Web site reported.
