Three security officers rescue residents from fire
Healthcare Security Weekly, February 25, 2008
Three security officers from Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, CT came to the rescue of residents after their home caught on fire February 8.
One of the officers was sitting in his security vehicle at the hospital when he noticed flames coming from a two-family house across the street. The officer ran up the stairs and forced open a door, helping a woman and two young children out of the burning house, reported WFSB Eyewitness News 3.
Another officer rushed to a second apartment to look for residents and helped a man he found there out of the building. A third officer stayed outside and helped the people rescued from the burning house, the news station reported.
