How do canopy, fume, and biosafety hoods differ?

You will learn how in this new series.Today we discuss canopy hoods. Next week we will discuss fume hoods and the following week, biosafety cabinets. This will be followed by information on work practice related to hoods. It is important for laboratorians to become well versed in this topic. Not to do so is to take risks in laboratory safety.
