Security guard hits woman with car

A security guard at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix was on patrol February 13 when he fell asleep at the wheel of his car and struck a 61-year-old woman in the hospital's parking lot.
The woman was going to an early-morning cardiac appointment. Police said the guard fell asleep and drove his car between two parked vehicles, striking the woman.
The accident is under investigation.
