Tip of the week: Assure employees of a safe workplace
Healthcare Security Weekly, February 4, 2008

A survey that polled 306 workers at five urban hospitals asked whether they'd come to work after several kinds of disasters, including riots, infectious disease, and a mass power outage. The results were mixed. However, workers said they'd be more willing to show up if they received assurances about, among other factors, a safe workplace in the case of public unrest.
