Man escapes hospital wearing gown and diaper

A 45-year-old Dayton, OH man, who was being held by the Montgomery County Sheriff's office, fled from the hospital where he was being treated and took a cab home while dressed in a hospital gown and an adult diaper, the Dayton Daily News reported.
The man was a patient at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, when sheriff's officials said a private security guard let him leave the facility on January 14. Police found him at his home, hiding in a bedroom closet, after family members alerted them to his whereabouts, the News reported.
He was originally arrested at his home on January 13 for felonious assault, kidnapping, and resisting arrest and was being held in the county jail. Deputies brought him to the hospital for unspecified reasons.
