OIG posts Solicitation of New Safe Harbors and Special Fraud Alerts
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, January 15, 2008
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) posted its annual Solicitation of New Safe Harbors and Special Fraud Alerts in the Federal Register, which applies to ASCs.
The annual notice seeks proposals and recommendations for developing new and modifying existing safe harbor provisions of the federal Anti-Kickback Statute and developing new special fraud alerts.
The OIG will accept comments until 5 p.m. February 18.
