Web site offers neurological disorder information in Spanish
EHR Connection, December 17, 2007
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) has established a Spanish language Web site that offers free, accurate information on numerous neurological disorders, according to a December 7 press release.
The Web site provides information on autism, dementia, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, strokes, and many other neurological disorders. It also includes information on clinical studies, links to nonprofit groups that offer information and assistance, and a contact form for submitting questions pertaining to health and biomedical research.
NINDS is part of the National Institutes of Health. Providing information to the nation's Spanish-speaking population is an important part of the agency's outreach efforts, according to the press release.
