Pfizer, the world's largest pharmaceutical company, has its second security breach two months, reports InformationWeek in an August 14 article. The newest incident occurred when an employee had two laptops stolen from their car in Boston. The laptops contained personal information, such as Social Security numbers and addresses, for nearly 1,000 people.

The incident that occurred earlier this year compromised information for 17,000 people. Concerns have also arisen over the length of time Pfizer took to notify the victims of the breach.
