A medical center employee has sued a physician for inappropriately reviewing her medical records because he was infatuated with her, the Berkshire Eagle reports. Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) employee Ashley Keyes filed suit against Boris Alberto Murillo, MD, and Berkshire Health Systems, BMC's parent company.

Keyes is a secretary at the Pittsfield, MA-based hospital. She charges that BMC failed to protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and did not properly train Murillo, according to the Eagle. She is seeking $250,000 in damages.
