Twenty-five laptop computers for sale on eBay appear to have come from Des Moines, IA-based Iowa Methodist Medical Center, according to The Associated Press. The computers bear yellow stickers identifying Iowa Methodist as the owner.
Thieves stole the computers over the course of a month's time from a locked room before the organization assigned the devices to employees. Although none of the computers contain sensitive data, they are worth $53,000. Several eBay buyers purchased the computers, but police have not made any arrests. Police officials did not comment about the case, The Associated Press reports.
