CMS posts new security papers

Organizations looking to further understand HIPAA's security rule can find five new papers posted on CMS' Web site. The papers, which are part of CMS' HIPAA Security Educational Paper Series, include "Security 101 for Covered Entities," "Security Standard-Administrative Safeguards," "Security Standards-Physical Safeguards," "Security Standards-Technical Safeguards," and "Security Standards-Organizational, Policies and Procedures and Documentation Requirements."

CMS will also release additional papers in the series and post them on the Web site.
