What are our documentation responsibilities with respect to NPPs?

You must document compliance with the notice requirements by retaining copies of the NPPs you issued for the required six years.

Covered healthcare providers must also retain all signed acknowledgments of receipt of the notice and documentation about attempts to obtain the acknowledgment when unable to obtain it.
