Enterprise Configuration Manager/HIPAA IT is the latest tool developed by Configuresoft to address the healthcare industry's ability to comply with the HIPAA security regulations, the company announced Tuesday.
Enterprise Configuration Manager/HIPAA IT assists in compliance by regularly auditing the network activity for compliance issues. The program uses patch management, event log collection/archiving, and includes templates for compliance of managed machines.
This solution addresses compliance for all 42 of the HIPAA security rule standards including the administrative and technical safeguards, which all covered entities are required to meet by April 20, 2005.
