An employee at a Wal-Mart pharmacy in Lubbock, TX, recently handed a customer a little more than just a prescription. The shopper received a list of 22 other customers, their phone numbers, and the 31 drugs prescribed to them, reports the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. The customer in this case also happens to be a staff writer for the newspaper.
The Wal-Mart employee had attached the list to a bag containing the reporter's prescription. The document listed prescriptions filled between August 23 and August 28, including antipsychotics, antidepressants, and birth control pills.
