Those wishing to obtain their CCDS certification now have an opportunity to take the exam at the ACDIS conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

  • Date: Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1 p.m. (location TBA)
  • Deadline to apply: April 15, 2016

This will be a paper-and-pencil exam. Results will be mailed to candidates approximately six weeks after the exam date.

Candidates must complete and submit the 2016 CCDS exam application (available on the “How to Apply” page in the Certification section on the ACDIS web site). Clearly indicate “Atlanta Exam” at the top of the application.

Candidates must meet all published qualifications, be approved, and pay for the exam in advance. Walk-ins are not allowed. Instructions about how to submit the application are printed on the top of the application.

Candidates should download and read the CCDS Candidate Handbook (available on the “How to Apply” page in the Certification section on the ACDIS web site). It explains important information about the exam, how to prepare, and which resources are permitted for use during the exam.

Candidates will be notified by email when their application is approved, and will receive exam instructions by email.

ACDIS reserves the right to cancel the Atlanta conference exam if fewer than 12 people register to take it. Candidates who registered for this exam will have the opportunity to schedule another exam at a location and on a date of their choosing. Candidates will be notified by May 4, 2016, if the exam will be cancelled.

For more information, visit the Certification page on the ACDIS website.
