Membership Update: Congratulations to our new Advisory Board members

ACDIS is delighted to announce the addition of four new Advisory Board members. The association continues to be fortunate to have a large contingent of dedicated members who volunteer their efforts to assist in addressing membership needs and advancing the clinical documentation improvement professional throughout the healthcare industry.
On an annual basis, four members of the Advisory Board retire from their positions and four new members are chosen by the nomination committee and voted upon by the entire ACDIS membership. There were many extremely qualified nominees and all of the finalists were highly regarded by the nomination committee. Our sincere gratitude goes out to all stepped forward in 2016. Those elected include:
- Sam Antonios, MD, FACP, FHM, CCDS, CDI and ICD-10 physician advisor, at Via Christi Health in Wichita, Kansas.
- Paul Evans, RHIA, CCDS, CCS, CCS-P, clinical documentation integrity leader, at Sutter West Bay Area, California.
- Tamara A. Hicks, RN, BSN, MHA, CCS, CCDS, ACM, manager of care coordination, at Wake Forest Baptist Health, in North Carolina.
- Robin Jones, RN, BSN, CCDS, MHA/Ed, system director, clinical documentation excellence at Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio.
