Semiannual Report collects findings of problems, abuses, and investigations

The OIG’s Semiannual Report to Congress includes a round-up of the agency’s reports from April 1 to September 30. The OIG recovered almost $3.35 billion, reported 925 criminal actions against individuals or entities, and 682 civil actions, according to the report.

The report collects several findings relating to healthcare IT and security, including:


Summaries of the reports are given, including OIG’s recommendations and the responses of the investigated entities.
