Pay-per-view: Recent rules and regulations should reduce provider ICD-10 uncertainty

Providers have been plagued by uncertainty regarding ICD-10, with multiple delays pushing out implementation by years.
 
More than 50% of providers cited uncertainty as the main obstacle to ICD-10 planning and testing in a February 2015 survey by the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI). The survey included 1,174 respondents, with 796 providers, 173 vendors, and 205 health plans. Approximately 50% of the provider respondents were health systems or hospitals, and approximately 33% were physician practices, according to WEDI.
