Back by popular demand, bring your entire team for our rebroadcast of ICD-10-PCS: Coding, Structure and Format at 1 p.m. (Eastern), Tuesday, June 8!
ICD-10-PCS will dramatically change how inpatient coders report procedures after October 1, 2014. Codes will go from three to five characters in ICD-9-CM to seven characters and include greater specificity. If coders don’t build the correct code, your facility won’t be paid.
Experts Mark N. Dominesey, MBA, RN, CCDS, CDIP, HIT Pro-CP, and Nena Scott, MSEd, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, will present an overview of ICD-10-PCS structure and format as well as analyze the process of ICD-10-PCS coding.
