St. Louis Children’s Hospital seeks a full-time CDI specialist with at least five years’ professional experience, including two or more in a supervisory capacity. The ideal candidate will also have at least two years’ experience as a CDI specialist. He or she will facilitate modifications to clinical documentation through physician queries, and communication with nursing staff, other caregivers, and coding staff to ensure that appropriate reimbursement is received for the level of service provided to patients with DRG-based payers, including Medicare and Medicaid.
