Pay-per-view: Analyze the impact of comprehensive APCs

For 2015, CMS identified 219 HCPCS/CPT codes as good candidates for comprehensive APCs (C-APC) because they mostly represent high-cost, device-related procedures, or based on its internal analyses.
 
These codes are assigned new status indicator J1 (outpatient department services paid through a comprehensive APC). CMS then took the 219 codes and divided them up into 25 different C-APCs across 12 different clinical families.
