Pay-per-view: AMA updates CPT codes for new technology and drugs in 2014

While many of the code changes in the 2014 CPT® Manual surgical sections involve bundling together common procedures, the major changes in the Radiology and Laboratory sections involve updates for newly recognized technologies and drugs.
"Radiology got off a little easy this year [compared to other sections]," said Denise Williams, RN, CPC-H, senior vice president for Health Revenue Assurance Associates (HRAA), Inc., in Plantation, Fla., during the HCPro webcast "2014 CPT Code Changes Explained."
