If you are a physician advisor, or a CDI department manager looking to add or get the most out of a physician advisor, consider attending The Physician Advisor’s Role in CDI pre-conference event, to be held May 8-9, 2012 in San Diego before the 5th annual ACDIS conference.
ACDIS held its first physician advisor pre-con last year and expanded it to two days due to high demand. Faculty will discuss DRG query opportunities, tips for strengthening records against RAC review, physician engagement techniques, and developing the role of the physician advisor.
