CMS forms EHR listserv, posts RAC ADR limits for physicians

On February 10, CMS announced a new listserv for the Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs. CMS will inform subscribers about developments, upcoming deadlines, new FAQs, and other information, including addressing questions and concerns from eligible professionals and hospitals. CMS also posted new RAC medical record documentation request (i.e., additional documentation request [ADR]) limits for physicians and nonphysician practitioners (NPP). The limits are effective February 14, 2011. View the new ADR limits for physicians/NPPs at www.cms.gov/RAC/Downloads/PhyADR.pdf.
