A number of new tools and presentations have been posted to the ACDIS Forms & Tools Library recently. Tulane University Hospital and Clinic donated a PowerPoint presentation its CDI program provides to new hospitalists at the facility. The presentation provides an overview of CDI and tips on problematic diagnoses. Another presentation donated following a local chapter meeting targets toxic metabolic encephalopathy courtesy of John W. Melton, MD. Finally, CDI Boot Camp Instructor Lynne Spryszak, RN, CCDS, CPC-A offers a sample chart review worksheet, that can be used to record notations and findings during daily chart review duties. There is also a new e-learning course The 2011 IPPS MS-DRG Update available to ACDIS members.
