CMS asks for Part C and D RAC suggestions

CMS published a notice in the Federal Register December 27 asking for comments on the RAC program expansion to Part C and Part D of the Medicare program.
According to the Federal Register, CMS is interested in comments on areas such as:
- Methods for identifying underpayments and overpayments
- Use of a phased-in approach
- Criteria or qualifications necessary for a RAC to accurately review payments
- Use of an oversight entity for issue approval
- Resolution of underpayments
Comments are due by 5:00 p.m. February 25.
