HHS posted details on its four privacy conferences to be held in San Diego, Atlanta, New York, and Chicago.

The conferences are designed to provide an opportunity to hear from and interact with officials who developed the privacy rule and will be responsible for interpreting and enforcing it, says HHS. Those interested in the one-day conferences can find registration information for each conference on HHS's Web site.

See the January 27 issue of HIPAA Weekly Advisor or go to http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/conference.html for more information on the conferences.
