Q. If we provide laminated copies of our privacy notice on the registration counters, must we post additional notices on the walls in waiting areas?
A. No. Although the HIPAA privacy rule requires that the Notice of Privacy Practices be posted, providing laminated copies in the waiting areas should meet this requirement.
