In light of last week’s announcement regarding a HIPAA proposed rule, HHS also created two new Web sites.
One is an updated look for an old Web site -- http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/administrative/breachnotificationrule/breachtool.html -- the breach notification site that lists entities who report breaches of unsecured PHI affecting 500 or more individuals.
And the other, “Health Data Privacy and Security Resources”, is new -- http://www.hhs.gov/healthprivacy/
