FUN FACT: Even the Red Sox comply with HIPAA

That’s right.
Our hometown team not only has won the World Series twice in the last six years, it complies with HIPAA. When asked last Wednesday about disclosing information about players’ injuries, Red Sox manager Terry Francona told radio station WEEI the team has to worry about a host of things, including HIPAA.
If a player doesn’t want information to get out, Francona said the team can’t release it.
So if the Red Sox can do it, you know you can.
