The ACDIS CDI Work Group is pleased to present the results of its first CDI staffing survey. The results are based on approximately 85 responses from CDI department managers on a wide range of questions concerning CDI department staffing.
The goal of the survey is to help CDI managers determine how many reviewers they may need to adequately staff their program, how many charts they can expect their staff to review on a monthly basis, and what other review and educational duties they should consider adding to their work flows.
The survey is available for ACDIS members as a free download on The CDI Journal homepage of the ACDIS website. Click here to access the survey. Look for supplemental analysis and benchmarking information regarding staffing and program structure in the July issue of The Journal.
