Current estimates indicate that more than 60% of all acute care hospitals have a CDI program in place. Accordingly, it has become increasingly obvious that along with CDI success stories a number of challenges exist. Although CDI professionals frequently expand their knowledge through processes of trial and error, it is also important to recognize the benefits of examining proven CDI methods that deliver positive results industry-wide.
The best way to ensure the success of a CDI program is to implement proactive improvement strategies and get your processes in writing. These basic CDI qualities are pivotal solutions to current and/or potential obstacles to success.
