Did you know that the HCPro Revenue Cycle Institute is a great source for free tools for those in charge of RAC management at their facility?
For example, each month the Revenue Cycle Institute publishes a new tool. Here are some of the tools published so far in 2010:
- RAC Request For Reconsideration Template Letter
- RAC Medical Record Compilation and Appeal Flow Charts
- Physician Supervision Requirements Table
You’ll also find a chart to download with the most up-to-date information available on which issues RACs are auditing in your state.
To download any—or all!—of these free tools, visit www.revenuecycleinstitute.com, and click on “Tools.”
