There are several Joint Commission standards that are important to note.
RC.01.01.01: Accurate and complete records
Consider the following EPs:
- EP 11: Entries in the medical record are dated.
- EP 13: All entries, including orders, are timed (for hospitals using The Joint Commission for deemed status).
