The ARRA has provided unique opportunities for HIM professionals to become involved in regional extension centers that will provide assistance with the adoption, implementation, and effective use of certified EHRs. AHIMA explores the variety of ways in which HIM professionals can actively participate in the regional centers in a concept paper it released July 13.
