Department of Defense and Department of Veterans' Affairs track progress toward joint virtual lifetime EHR

The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee held a hearing to review the coordination of health records between the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Department of Defense on July 14. The hearing, "Interagency Program Office: Examining the Progress of Electronic Health Record Interoperability Between VA and DoD," began with statements from Harry E. Mitchell, chairmen of the subcommittee on oversight and investigations. Several panelists also provided witness testimony.
