AHIMA launches new and improved Web site devoted to PHRs

Q: Where can I find up-to-date information about personal health records (PHR)?
A: On July 15, AHIMA announced the launch of its new and improved Web site devoted to PHRs called myphr.com. The goal of the site is to help consumers manage their health information by providing education to seven specific audience segments:
- Parents
- Students
- Seniors
- Caregivers
- Chronically ill patients
- Travelers
- Athletes
