Q: Where can I find comments that the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) provided regarding the proposed meaningful use matrix?
A: On June 26, CCHIT provided comments to the HIT Policy Committee stating that most of the measures proposed for 2011 would be difficult to achieve by providers who have not already begun EHR implementations. The commission recommended that the Office of the National Coordinator either simplify meaningful use measures for 2011 or postpone them until 2013. CCHIT also commented on the proposed meaningful use matrix and provided several annotations.
