CMS Web site now dedicated to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

CMS has announced the creation of a new Web site dedicated to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The site includes information about Medicare and Medicaid incentives for EHRs and important links to the Department of Health and Human Services. The following documents are currently posted on the CMS site:

  • A CMS fact sheet and questions/answers pertaining to the incentive programs
  • Link to press release pertaining to the process of defining meaningful use (Comments are due June 26, 2009.)
  • Resources on Health IT and privacy and security
