How many record requests can HIM directors expect to receive now that the permanent Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) program has begun to roll out?
An "MRB Talk" subscriber recently posted this question, and HIM directors’ responses varied. One director who participated in the demonstration program said her facility received hundreds of requests every month. Another said the number varied widely from month to month, with as many as 50 requests one month and few to none the next.
