CMS released its April quarterly update to the I/OCE March 13, effective April 6 (“April 2009 Integrated Outpatient Code Editor Specifications Version 10.1”).
In his periodic review of the I/OCE update, Dave Fee, MBA, product marketing manager for outpatient products at 3M Health Information Systems in Murray, UT, comments on a mixed bag of changes in this typically quiet quarter.
