Tip: Ensure consistent application of charges

Many facilities still lack written and tested policies and procedures to ensure consistent application of level charges—an application verifiable by auditors and related to the resources that the facility used.
Whichever tool you use to determine charges, it must be:
- Consistent
- Reflective of facility resource use
- Objective
- Auditable
- Based on policies available to the MAC or FI for review
