One of the more significant challenges facing healthcare organizations is reasonably ensuring network security when it comes to risks associated with remote users. One tool that can assist in automated network configuration auditing and reporting is NetMRI from Netcordia, Inc. NetMRI may be cost-prohibitive for smaller organizations. However, larger organizations will find it is more expensive to manage and audit network and device configuration across the whole network, including remote users, without an automated tool.
